with roomy side seam pockets, optional knee big patches & a strong welt inseam..

I came across an old pair of work wear trousers that had this unusual cinching mechanism which with some study I managed to figure out & re-imagine into this pair of trousers. It’s like oB’s take on a drawstring trouser, but rather than the gathering being a bit here there and everywhere this mechanism cinches the gathering into the back sides of the body & leaves the front of the trouser looking nice & flat. I find it’s adjustable waist allows the body to move & shift, tying to what feels good that day.

this is also the bottom half of the ritual body jumpsuit ~ cut in wide or straight leg

  • made in a choice of cloths, which change the character & feel of the trouser, a linen gives a more summer weight/warm weather trouser & the canvases give a more everyday workwear style trouser ~ cloths here are ordered from lightest to heaviest \/

    • linen ~ cobalt, sage, black, spruce ~ a mid to light weight linen giving a soft airy trouser

    • cotton linen canvas ~ deep black or sea blue ~ a mid weight canvas has a workwear feel

    • brushed organic cotton twill ~ spruce green ~ a mid weight cotton canvas with a little bit of stretch gives a hard wearing structured trouser

    order a oB sample pack if you would like to have a feel first

    sewn with organic cotton threads or poly cotton threads (make a note if you have a preference)

  • I always think it’s best to wash infrequently and avoid over washing, as this helps garments live a bit longer.
    this garment in any of these chosen fabrics can be hand washed, machine washed at 30 or dry cleaned


    tips:
    loosely tie straps together in a loose bow to save them getting too tangled - alternatively wash in a netted bag
    steam iron after washing, ironing the straps is worth it trust me!

    all of these cloths take a bit of breaking in for them to really feel yours this trouser ages really nicely
